Get to know our dental nurses….

Our clinicians are supported and assisted by our amazing nurses; while they are often busy ‘behind the scenes’, in surgery you can be sure they will help, support and put you at ease, throughout all dental appointments.

Here you can find out about some of them a little more!

Leighjade Hunter – Kingswood Parks Dental (

I began working in a dental practice, on reception during a gap year and I really enjoyed it; I then went onto my to do my dental nursing training as I really enjoyed the dental environment and wanted to further my knowledge. I’m so pleased I decided to further my career in dentistry as I’m always learning new things, even after being qualified.

I’ve worked in 2 other practices before Kingswood Parks Clinics and this is the best place I have worked; everyone is so warm and approachable. I feel as though it is a family at the clinic; I know I can speak to every member of staff about anything. I genuinely love my job again, after moving here. Plus seeing all the smile make-overs and being part of a patients’ journey is amazing.

I would advise any patient to come and visit the practice before joining the practice if you’re nervous about your first appointment with a dentist; any member of the team will sit and have a chat with you, we just want you to feel comfortable with us.

I knew that when I finished school, I didn’t want to finish secondary education in the capacity of A-Levels, so I looked at different career paths. I found a dental practice and completed a trial, and thrived off seeing the patients become confident from their new smile. I’ve never looked back since!

Working at Kingswood Parks Clinics is a fun but professional place to work; I love working amongst a happy and uplifting team, it feels like a true family.

I would recommend everyone to don’t be afraid and invest in yourself.

I wanted a change in career, after working with horses so after being invited for an interview at a dental practice, I have loved dental ever since that moment! I am still passionate about my horses, and take up most of my free time; them, my family and training for a 46 mile ultra-marathon later this year!

While working at Kingswood Parks Clinics it is nice to see the transformations here of their smiles; seeing a patient come out after a smile makeover is exciting and so rewarding.

When attending the practice initially, try to relax; we are only here to help so we want the best for you.
