Amy is the multi-award-winning clinical lead and founder of Kingswood Parks Dental and Skin Clinic, with a background of 18 years in the industry. Joining the military at 16 to train as a Dental Nurse, Amy qualified at 18 and was then the youngest Dental Nurse to gain the National Certificate. She went on to spend six years as a Dental Nurse in the UK and overseas for the Navy, before moving into Maxillofacial surgery.
Upon leaving the military, she studied Dental Therapy at Sheffield University and graduated in 2011, at which time she drew on her extensive knowledge of facial anatomy and began training in Facial Aesthetics just two weeks after graduation. She now has almost 9 years of aesthetic experience and is a fully qualified medical aesthetics trainer; teaching locally and nationally as part of the Kingswood Parks Training Academy, which offers accredited training courses to medical and dental professionals.
Amy has won several prestigious industry awards from the national Dental Awards, the Aesthetic Dentistry Awards and the Oral Health Awards, as well as being a finalist, and Highly Commended for several others both in the UK and internationally.
Recently, Amy has completed training with Dental Excellence and Avant Garde to allow her to offer the best in digital smile design. In 2021, Amy plans to undertake further training to become a Dental Surgeon, widening the range of treatments she can offer even further.
Outside of work, Amy is currently enjoying life as a new mum to baby Coco and has a close-knit extended family with whom she loves spending time.
Her non-stop hard-working lifestyle keeps her busy, but in her rare free time she is a bit of a jetsetter, having visited many bucket list destinations such as Dubai, Monaco and Jamaica.
Currently, Amy is successfully learning to cook, which means our staff room is often full of delicious home baked treats!
